No one was more surprised than Pastor Bob Miller that he was ordained as a Lutheran Minister in 1990. Pastor Miller has served congregations in Florida, California, North Carolina, and Tennessee, now including the role of “Bridge Interim Pastor” at Good Shepherd.
Pastor Bob’s sermons are guided by two key maxims. The first is “If it’s not good news, then it’s not the gospel.” The second is “If it’s not good news for everyone then it’s not good news for anyone.”
A bald guy sporting a white beard, Pastor Bob can be reached through the church office. He can also be seen riding his Indian Chieftain Motorcycle around the roads of Eastern Tennessee whenever he can make the time. That is, as long as the Volunteers aren’t playing!
The father of a 20-year-old, Nicholas, who is a Junior at ETSU, Pastor Bob lives in Jefferson City with a dog (Bailey) and 2 cats (Louie and Gucci), and with his son when he is home on break.
Please join us for worship on Sundays at 10:00. Pastor Bob is looking forward to meeting you!
