BLESSING OF PETS
We will have a brief service of blessing for pets on Friday, October 4, at 7pm, near the gazebo behind the building. October 4 is the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, who, legend says, had a special relationship with these special creatures of God.
You are welcome to bring your pet of any species for a blessing! We ask that you're pet be restrained on a leash or in a carrier. If your pet doesn't travel, you are welcome to bring a picture of your pet, or simply receive a blessing for your pet by proxy. And, if you have no pets, you are still welcome to come and enjoy the service and the animals!
